Hello, I am Brian Elsey.
I was born in London in 1951 and moved to Bedfordshire at the age of 10. I have recently moved (2015) and now live in Ringstead Northants. I have always been interested in drawing and painting from an early age. I am self taught with no formal training.
I have been a Draughtsman for 45 years in Engineering and Architecture. This hopefully has given me an eye for detail.
I like painting any subject from Landscapes , Seascapes, Wildlife and recently have produced some pet portraits on commission.
My favourite medium is oil.
Main achievments :-
I have had two paintings accepted for exhibition and two highly commended at Patchings art centre open competition in Nottingham, sponsored by The Artist and Leisure Painter magazines
